On March 27, the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council announced About Issued 2017 Audit of a List of Doctor, Master's Degree Authorization Centers Notice, our declaration of Marxist theory, political science, Chinese language and literature, mathematics, biology, optical engineering, environmental science and engineering, aquatic products, etc, totally 8 first-level doctoral degree authorization centers and education PhD degree authorization centers, aquatic level master's degree authorization centers and social work, cultural relics and museums, business management, accounting, tourism management, and other 5 master's degree authorization centers through the examination and approval. The university's self-listed first-level master's degree in psychology and master's degree in finance were also approved. So far, our university has 10 first-level disciplines authorized for doctor's degree, 27 first-level disciplines authorized for master's degree, 7 second-level disciplines authorized for master's degree, 1 doctoral degree category and 15 master professional degree categories.

This degree application,our university, in strict accordance with the requirements of national documents, takes the development characteristics, improvement of quality and service requirements as the core, combines the discipline development plan of the school, and carefully completes the organization and demonstration of the declaration materials. The doctoral program is ranked fourth among all universities in China and second in Henan. Among the top 10 universities in the doctoral program increment, the application rate of our university is 90%, ranking the second in China and the first in Henan.
